Statement
Mario Dante Napoli is a multidisciplinary artist and photographer whose work investigates the relationship between the real and unreal within the photographic process. By constructing images through digital and physical manipulation, Napoli is able to call into question the images relationship with reality. These tableaux are then presented in a way that allows the viewer to question their own perception, confronting them with questions of fabrication, authenticity and the photographic process.
